I’ve been tasked with making a business plan for my mentor and implementing it within a time period of 8 - 23 weeks. I have a week to do the business plan, this should be exciting as I can focus on its monetization and explore ways of implementing that into it as i write the plan. I haven’t thought about the premium account version code wise before so this will be a chance. I wont be active for a few days as i’ll be writing that. First drafts due back at silicon roundabout next thursday.

development: this is my course of action now. bits of paper dont work at all, so im writing this here.
- fix the suggested snaps on homepage after signing in.
- fix the university credentials on the snapshot pop-up.
- get jasny’s bootstrap version (file-upload) button on that note pad.
- finish submit snapshot pad with the above. ^^
- general tidying up.
- go through the user experience making sure all hidden functions work && spelling mistakes, missing links on the below image should have that users link to his portfolio, not just link to grid.to. (the guy’s portfolios’ not linked on his auto-status update)

Im currently working on the profile page.
the education and employment sections will be hidden until a significant amount of users set their education & employment (history / status) which would auto-populate that section - so thats finished.
I will be wrapping up the code for the upload part on the profile, which is hidden for non-signed in users. this only involves the ui as the server side code was already done and used to put the current snaps there.

im reverting back to the old frontpage. in hopes of getting something like via.me (i didn’t copy that, but that ui looks crap), ge.tt and the obvious pinterest. slight aesthetics changes will occur to accommodate for that. i’ve been taking time out off the project to reflect on this, so sorry about that.

Hello all,
The Grid is at 0.9. There are slight issues with user experience, this user seemed to know how to add their work experience. grid.to/clara and this user didn’t grid.to/medodawod. At least user traction has been mastered, since they both took less than 10 seconds to ‘sign up’ with their Facebook, as you can see by the facebook button on both profiles.
I will be using infinity-scroll pagination, were more snaps load as you scroll down. But I want to make a masterpiece out of the uploading experience, then Market it before adding bulk stuff.

update for deadline
- clusters for education, company and skill sets to be released after 1.0
- it will initially be marketed as a sole portfolio storage app, with experience, education and skills inputted, but NOT made use of until after 1.0 to go with the clusters.
Its important that development is sequential to get the best out of each phase. Only 9 days left now. and all the mechanisms to get this spiralling have been set. So all work will be based on the portfolio.

I’m resuming work. I have finished a company project earlier than expected and can continue development. Sorry about stalling.
Being stuck in 0.8 is modest as I’ve done a lot but I wont move to 0.9 until its fit for purpose, before the release of 1.0 as being a thoroughly tested version.
I will post a development update after a considerable amount of work has been made too.
